How do I view my statistics?
You can check the performance
of your Q-Ads advertisements by
using the Statistics section of your ad management page. To get there,
simply login
here.
You can use the statistics
interface to see various metrics about ad
performance. These include CTR, impressions and per blog analysis.
What do my stats mean?
Understanding your statistics
is important to making sure they
perform the best. We give you real-time performance data so you can
track your clicks, impressions, and CTR - later our stats will show
real time earnings performance. Additionally,
you will be able to break that data down per
ad, to fully understand which
keywords are performing well for you,
and on which blog.
Overall, you will understand
how many times people are seeing your
ad, if it entices clicks, and how much those clicks are worth (later).
We suggest that you learn
how
to
optimize your ads here.
What are impressions?
Impressions are the number of
times an ad(s) have been displayed.
This includes impressions both in your blog and in your RSS feed.
What is a CTR?
CTR stands for Click-through
rate. CTR represents the ratio of
clicks to impressions and is typically reported as a percent. CTRs
above 1% are considered excellent.
Why is my CTR% so low?
Most ad systems embed
their ad on the outside of your blog frame. So when someone
hits your main page, that is counted as 1 impression.
With Q-Ads, we embed
an ad in each post. So as people visit your main blog page,
there are far more ads shown… even if the redear
doesn’t scroll down the page to read the older posts.
So comparing Q-Ads CTR
to any other system is like comparing Apples to Oranges.
How do I understand the per ad
statistics?
The per ad statistics,
available on a daily or monthly view,
describe the performance of your ads in detail. When you generate an ad
using the banner designer, you have the option to enter some text in
the Post
Title field.
If you enter descriptive text
into this post title field, you will
be able to track your general stats (CTR, money, etc) by ad. If you did
not enter any information into this field, a series of
information
such as the
date will be displayed instead.
What if I click my own ad?
Clicks to your own ads will not
be recorded. In some cases,
fraudulent clicks such as these will be removed instantly, and others
will be removed during our auditing
process.
How do I see if I was paid?
to your
account and click on Payment History (this will be enabled soon).
